We find influence from the ancient philosophy of actionless action, whereby a web page is aesthetically pleasing with moments of subtlety while at the same time proficient in presenting information in a clear and concise manner. Literally, the "Wei" means for the sake of and the "Wu" means does not exist. The Tao Te Ching, an ancient Chinese philosophical text thought to be written by Lao Tzu (Old Master), embodies this idea of yin and yang where the universe adheres to the most efficient, possible way to achieve something.
